Library Equal Access Program for Kids
Our events for kids are ADA accessible, and we can make accommodations with one week notice. We also sometimes offer ASL and Sensory Story Times.
Seattle Public Schools students and teachers get instant access to our online resources without a Library card.

We offer many services to Seattle-area daycares, schools, and other community agencies serving kids and teens.
Our story times are active learning opportunities where kids of all ages enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and fun with our children's librarian.
Summer of Learning
The Library has offered summer programs for Seattle youth since 1919 – this past summer was our 104th year of summer youth programming!
