Our 2026 Seattle Reads selection is “True Biz” by Sara Nović.
“True Biz” is revelatory novel that plunges readers into the halls of a residential school for the deaf, where characters face crises both personal and political.
About Seattle Reads
Founded in 1998, Seattle Reads is a city-wide book group where people are encouraged to read and discuss the same book.
Originally called “If All of Seattle Read the Same Book,” Seattle Reads was the first “One Book, One City” program. It proved so popular that the concept has spread across all 50 states and even internationally.
The Library lends hundreds of copies of the featured book to readers prior to the author's visit. Check at any location or search our catalog.
