Join WorkSource and The Seattle Public Library for Enterprise Nexus, a free four-hour educational and networking event for current and future entrepreneurs on Friday, Sept. 12 at North Seattle College, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Enterprise Nexus will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts in the world of business and technology. Network with like-minded individuals, attend insightful workshops, and gain valuable knowledge for your current or future business.

“Enterprise Nexus is a one-stop shop for those embarking on business ownership or already in business,” said Jay Lyman, business librarian at The Seattle Public Library. “With so many helpful organizations and experts in the same room, you can make a year’s worth of connections in an afternoon!”

Participating organizations include Black-Owned Business Excellence, Build206, Business Impact NW, Craft3, Denkyem, Evergreen Business Capital, Evergreen Goodwill, Growing Contigo, King County Hazardous Waste Management Program, Puget Sound Energy, Seattle SCORE, the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), The Data Guys, The Seattle Public Library, Workforce Development Council of Seattle King County, and WorkSource Seattle-King County.

  • When: Friday, Sept. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: North Seattle College, 9600 College Way N., Seattle. The event is at WorkSource, located in the first-floor lobby of the Opportunity Center
  • Cost: Free, but registration is required at EventBrite.

  • Attend interactive workshops on business planning, funding resources, and market analysis
  • Make connections with successful local entrepreneurs and small business advisors
  • Get access to WorkSource employment services for entrepreneurs building their teams
  • Learn about The Seattle Public Library's free small business resources, including one-on-one support and databases, and get referrals to other resources.
  • Network with potential collaborators, mentors, and employees
