Learning is for everyone
  • Attend a storytime, program or event at the Library! For a list of events, check out our calendar or visit your local branch to see what’s happening this summer.
  • Play a game! From board games or video games to tabletop or puzzles, gaming builds all sorts of skills such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking, teamwork and social skills.
  • Visit a museum, art exhibit or cultural center in your area.
  • Expand your vocabulary. This summer learn about or even create your own collective nouns: A pixel of gamers? A plot of readers? A bouquet of butterflies? A collective noun is a single word that refers to a group of people, things or animals. What other group names can you discover or create?
