About the Collection

Capitol Hill Branch worked with Technical and Collection Services, and the Washington Center for the Book to develop the parameters for a collection that focused on LGBTQ+ subject matter and themes.  The branch began building the collection with funding assistance from The Seattle Public Library Foundation in the early 2000s.
