Artwork by Nick Lyle and Jean Whitesavage at the Delridge Branch

Metal artists Nick Lyle and Jean Whitesavage launched the first branch art project under the Libraries for All building program.

The artists collaborated and made the artwork themselves out of hand-forged steel, using native plants found along nearby Longfellow Creek as inspiration.

  • Trillium Tower
  • Stream Orchid
  • Bunchberry
  • Oregon Grape
  • Huckleberry Branch
  • Willow Leaf bench

The Trillium Tower is above the main entry to the library. Several other plants surround it.

You can see the Huckleberry Branch and the Willow Leaf bench artwork at ground level in the main entry.
