Each year we display works by local artists at the Southwest Branch. We showcase art in a variety of mediums by artists in the Southwest Seattle community. This is a free, non-juried and nonprofit exhibit.
In 2023, the Southwest Artist Showcase is back for its 31st year! This free, non-juried, non-profit exhibit of artwork features artists from all over Southwest Seattle. We welcome submissions from artists of all ages and experience levels.

Artists who identify as West and Southwest Seattle residents are invited to submit up to 2 pieces of art. Artwork will be accepted October 3 – October 5 only and will be on display at the Southwest Branch from October 7 to November 4. Artwork will not be offered for sale at the Library. Artwork must be picked up by the artist by 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 12.
