Southwest Artist Showcase
Each year we display works by local artists at the Southwest Branch. We showcase art in a variety of mediums by artists in the Southwest Seattle community. This is a free, non-juried and nonprofit exhibit.
30th Annual Artist Showcase: Sunday, Oct. 2 – Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022
The Southwest Artist Showcase is a non-juried, non-profit exhibit of artwork from South and Southwest Seattle artists at the Southwest Branch.
Submit your artwork to the showcase
Artists who identify as West and Southwest Seattle residents are invited to submit up to 2 pieces of art. Artwork will be accepted September 28 - September 30 only and will be on display at the Southwest Branch through the month of October. Artwork will not be offered for sale at the Library. Artwork must be picked up by the artist by 6 p.m. on Friday, November 4.

Visit the Southwest Branch during open hours from Sunday, October 2 - Sunday, October 30 to view the Artist Showcase. Artwork will be on display throughout the branch.
Wednesday, Sep. 28 – Friday, Sep. 30: Patron sign up and drop off period
Sunday, Oct. 2: Opening Day
Sunday, Oct. 30: Last day of show
Sunday, Oct. 30 – Friday, Nov. 4: Pick up art work
Please note that some works may not be included if their size or construction prevents their effective display in the library. Library staff will determine the placement and display of each piece, and artwork will not be moved once it has been placed.
