Learn to Speak Chinese at The Seattle Public Library: Classes Begin Oct. 8

The Seattle Public Library will offer two levels of Chinese for Beginners as a 10-week course for adult language learners from October through December at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Boeing Technology Training Center, Room 4, 206-684-0849.
Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required, call 206-684-0849 or email email@example.com. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.
Chinese for Beginners, Level 1 - Learn phonetics and daily expressions, develop listening and speaking skills, and gain familiarity with Chinese culture.
Chinese for Beginners, Level 5 - Continue to learn grammar and vocabulary, and advance your conversational skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to communicate in daily life situations and have a greater understating of Chinese culture.
These classes are presented in partnership with the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington.
