The Seattle Public Library and Geek Girl Con will co-sponsor a free, all-ages convention honoring the work of Jim Henson and his creation of The Muppets from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at The Seattle Public Library, Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636 .

Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $7.

The Jim Henson Con will feature sing-alongs for songs from "Labyrinth" and the Muppet Movie's "Rainbow Connection." There will be puppetry performances, costumes and more!

10 a.m. - Welcome and opening remarks
11 a.m. "Labyrinth" sing-along with Evan J. Peterson
1 p.m. - Break/crafts
2 p.m. - Jennifer Carroll performance of dragon dance
2:30 p.m. - Rachel Jackson performance with Vox Fabuli Puppets
3 p.m. - Karen Prell performance
3:30 p.m. - Jason Mondine performance with Zoo Pack Puppets
4 p.m. - "Rainbow Connection" sing-along
4:30 p.m. - Costume and Puppet Contest

Level 3, Living Room, purple carpet area
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Crafts including Perler beads, coloring sheets, puppet making and button making
