About the West Seattle Branch

At this Carnegie library, tall ceilings foster openness. Wood detailing throughout the interior adds to the warm, historic feel.

The West Seattle Branch is on The National Register of Historic Places. Seattle's Landmarks Preservation Board named it a landmark building. It is the oldest public library building in Seattle.
