Tax Help at the Library
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government extended the deadline to file 2019 federal taxes by July 15, 2020. The Seattle Public Library is here to help patrons access the forms they need to file taxes on time or to request an extension.
Beginning Monday, July 6, commonly requested tax forms will be available outside the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave, at the Fourth Avenue entrance. Forms will be available every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The following forms will be made available:
- 1040 form and instructions
- Extension forms
- Forms from the 1099 series
- W-2 and W-3 forms
Due to our ongoing COVID-19 systemwide closure, Library staff will not be able to provide Tax Help or assistance with how to use these forms. All forms will be distributed using a no-contact distribution model.
