Learn about eating healthy and selling your art with The Seattle Public Library's upcoming life skills and digital creativity classes in January.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is required, visit the Library’s calendar to sign up.

SCHEDULE

  • 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Jan. 19Body-Positive Healthy Weight Loss. This class will help you navigate the grocery store and show you how eating for a healthy body can be simple once you gain a few tips and strategies. You’ll learn how to decode food labels, shop smart at the store, and rearrange your kitchen to promote healthier eating behaviors.
  • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22Making More of a Business of Your Art. Learn about how to go beyond simply making and selling originals - move up to making merchandise, entering auctions and contests, promotion, renting your art to third parties, and of course embracing the Internet in these online times.

Digital creativity classes are made possible by support from The Seattle Public Library Foundation and presented in partnership with South Seattle College. Check the Library’s calendar for upcoming classes in February and March 2021.
