Start a Business Workshop Series at The Seattle Public Library in November and December

Interested in starting a business? The Seattle Public Library has a four-week workshop series that starts with a session on generating business ideas and personal readiness.
Two Library locations offer upcoming workshops for "First Step: Does Your Business Idea Make Sense?":
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at the Beacon Hill Branch, 2821 Beacon Ave. S., 206-684-4711.
2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays, Dec. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at the Rainier Beach Branch, 9125 Rainier Ave. S., 206-386-1906.
WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
Week 1: Startup basics - ideas and personal readiness
Week 2: Finding a market - product, marketing and market research
Week 3: Getting paid - budgeting, sales and estimating costs
Week 4: Putting it all together - cash flow, financial projections and breaking even
