Join The Seattle Public Library for a monthly lecture series featuring presentations on the history of West Seattle, the Duwamish Peninsula and the birthplace of Seattle.

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available.

2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20 at the West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W., 206-684-7444 . Join Alki Bike & Board's Stu Hennessey to hear about "Alki Bicycle History."
