The Seattle Public Library will be at community events and will bring the Books on Bikes full-service Library to outdoor locations across the city this September. See below for the current schedule:

The Library at Magnolia Farmers Market

Drop by the Library's table to get a library card, check out a cookbook and view a cooking demo and/or activity for all ages.

10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2 at the Magnolia Farmers Market, 33rd Ave W & W McGraw Street.

Learn how to make Shrubs at the Lake City Farmers Market

Come for a cooking demo on how to make a shrub. It's a concentrated syrup made from fruit, vinegar and sugar that's traditionally mixed with water to create a tart, sweet and refreshing drink.

4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at Lake City Farmers Market, NE 125th St. and 28th St. NE.

Sustainable Ballard Festival

The Library will be running a Repair Café - stop at the Ballard Branch's meeting room (right across from the festival) and bring an item that needs fixing. Tools, devices and fasteners will be on hand to help with quick repairs.

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 at Ballard Commons Park, 5701 22nd Ave. N.W.

Books on Bikes at the Night Market

Members of The Seattle Public Library's Books on Bikes team will be at the Night Market event in the Chinatown/International District as a full-service library.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9 on King Street, under the Chinatown

Fisherman's Fall Festival

Stop by the Library's table to do art projects with a fishing theme.
