Seattle Writes: 'Residencies Revealed' Discussion at The Seattle Public Library Jan. 20

If you're a writer dreaming of time and space to write, come find out about residencies in the Northwest from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 4, Washington Mutual Foundation Meeting Room 1, 206-386-4636.
The discussion is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library's parking garage for $8.
A writing residency is a retreat experience where you have time away from your regular life to focus on your work. There are a variety of residency offerings in the Pacific Northwest.
At this event, a panel of representatives from Washington residencies will talk about their writing retreats. They will share information on what they offer writers, as well as tips for the application process. Bring your questions and don't let go of that dream of finding uninterrupted time to write!
