Learn How to Research Family History at The Seattle Public Library on Nov. 2

Join us for an intro-level genealogy class on how to get started with family history research from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Broadview Branch, 12755 Greenwood Ave. N, 206-684-7519.
Genealogy librarian Mahina Oshie will give an introduction to family history research and an overview of Seattle-area research resources. You'll receive sample genealogy charts and bibliographies to help you get started with your own research.
Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
The Library gives everyone the opportunity to learn and excel through our educational resources, classes and staff assistance. Family researchers can get genealogy support online, and in-person help is available at workshops and one-on-one appointments.
