Remembering Imogene Inglet and Lake City History at The Seattle Public Library Jan. 14

Vicki Stiles, director of the Shoreline Historical Museum, will present a talk in honor of the late author Imogene Inglet and her books about the history of the Lake City neighborhood from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Lake City Branch, 12501 28th Ave. N.E., 206-684-7518.
Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the underground garage. Copies of "Pioneer Days" will be available for purchase.
Inglet was a longtime Lake City business owner and community leader. In 2013, she authored her first book, "Li'l Ol' Lake City," followed by "Pioneer Days" in 2016.
