The Seattle Public Library invites the community to a live forum where attendees can get to know candidates for Seattle's mayor, city attorney and city council-at-large positions 8 and 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 at the Rainier Arts Center, 3515 S. Alaska St., 206-725-7517.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome, however space is limited. Registration is not required. Doors open at 3 p.m. 

Interpretation will be provided in Spanish, Somali, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean. The event will be recorded by the Seattle Channel and livestreamed by Town Hall Seattle.

This round-table discussion (where both candidates respond to the same question) will be moderated by KCTS 9's broadcast journalist, Enrique Cerna. Candidates at this forum will include:

Mayor: Jenny Durkan and Cary Moon

City Attorney: Pete Holmes and Scott Lindsay

Council-At-Large Position 8: Jon Grant and Teresa Mosqueda

Council-At-Large Position 9: M. Lorena González and Pat Murakami
