New Hours for Seattle Room and Genealogy Services at the Central Library

The Library finds creative solutions to meet the public's changing needs and interests. Due to patron requests, The Seattle Public Library now offers Seattle Room and genealogy services seven days a week.
Seattle Room – Level 10 of the Central Library
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays
Genealogy Desk – Level 9 of the Central Library
11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays
Genealogy librarians can help direct you to the best resources for your research; half-hour appointments are available Monday through Friday. To make an appointment, call 206-386-4636 and ask for Genealogy, submit a request online, or visit the Central Library’s Genealogy Collection on Level 9.
