Learn Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at The Seattle Public Library on June 20

Interested in Chinese calligraphy and painting? Learn some brush techniques and create your own work from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 3, The Norcliffe Foundation Living Room, 206-386-4636.
Local artists from the Green Lake Arts Club will teach you the basics of creating a simple Chinese painting and a calligraphy work. When you're finished, you can stamp your work with a special Chinese seal. Art supplies will be provided.
Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.
