The Seattle Public Library will host musical performances by the Ladies Musical Club at two locations in January. Dates, times and locations are outlined below.

  • 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8 the West Seattle Branch, 2306 42nd Ave. S.W., 206-684-7444. This month's concert will feature music for oboe by Martinů and Colin.

  • Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636. This month's concert will feature a dolce duet of voice and guitar, along with piano works for four hands.

The Ladies Musical Club is an organization of women with the mission to foster classical music in the community through education, performance and awards.

Library programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available near the West Seattle Branch. Parkingis available in the Central Library garage at the regular rates.
