Join us for a conversation about innovation and privacy and the public good with Tony Ageh, chief digital officer of the New York Public Library, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Central Library, 1000 Fourth Ave., Level 1, Microsoft Auditorium, 206-386-4636.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Parking is available in the Central Library garage for $7 after 5 p.m.

During the digital age, there has been widespread disruption of long held norms, values and institutions. In a conversation facilitated by Frank Catalano, GeekWire columnist, Ageh will discuss these issues and the role of libraries in preserving privacy and the public good.

The Library's dynamic approach to building community that enriches lives includes programming that brings people, information and ideas together to respect and embrace the well-being of the people we serve.
