The Seattle Public Library will present monthly discussion groups for seniors at two locations in June.

Library events and programs are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Brown bag lunches are welcome.

  • Noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 – This month we'll discuss "Our Favorite Apps." Please bring your own devices for this discussion. This meeting is presented in partnership with Puget Sound Advocates for Retirement Action (PSARA).

  • Noon to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 14 - This month we'll discuss "Dreaming Our Future." Rebecca Crichton leads a discussion on how living your dreams has showed up in your life so far, and explores what dreams you still hope to fulfill in your 60s, 70s and 80s. This meeting is presented in partnership with Northwest Center for Creative Aging, and Puget Sound Activists for Retirement Action.

Hot Topics for Seniors is a place to discuss current national, state and local issues. The groups select topics, which may include issues such as education, health care, benefit programs, hospice, palliative care, immigration, gun control, transportation or housing.
