Support Group for Home-Based Food Business Owners Meets at The Seattle Public Library Sept. 7

Entrepreneurs who want to start a small food business in their own kitchen are invited to get start-up advice at a bimonthly discussion group. The next meeting will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at the Beacon Hill Branch, 2821 Beacon Ave. S., 206-684-4711 .
Library events are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the lot on the west side of the building.
This month the group will discuss ideas sales opportunities beyond farmers markets, such as fairs and pop-ups. Attendees are invited to bring samples of their products for group feedback.
