The Seattle Public Library offers drop-in job help for people with low incomes from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursdays, July 12 and 26, at the Ballard Branch, 5614 22nd Ave. N.W., 206-684-4089.

Library events are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. This program is geared towards anyone who is eligible for or currently on Basic Food.

Employment specialists and case managers from Neighborhood House can connect you with training and skills to help you get a job. Services include:

  • healthcare employment training
  • youth employment programs
  • childcare certificate training
  • interview preparation
  • access to income resources
  • help with expenses
  • résumé and cover letter writing

These events are presented in partnership with Neighborhood House.
