Just in time for the holiday season, the Friends of The Seattle Public Library is hosting a one-day Better Book Sale featuring like-new, "better" books, DVDs and some CDs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at North Seattle College - Former Cafeteria & Baxter Student Center, First Floor, College Center Building.

You'll find gift-quality items for all ages at this sale. All items will be individually priced starting at $3. Featured book categories include children's books, valuable old and rare books and a nice selection of general non-fiction, including art books and literature. DVDs will be in very good condition.

Scanners, cell phones or any other electronic devices used to seek information about books are not allowed during this sale.

The book sale will be held in the cafeteria at North Seattle College. Enter from the west side of the campus into the first floor entrance of the College Center Building, underneath the large concrete staircase visible from College Way between 95th and 97th streets.

Parking and Transportation options
Free parking is offered at North Seattle College. Driving from either direction on College Way N., turn east on 95th Street. The southwest lot (your first right) and the east lot next to the blue building are the most convenient lots for book sale parking.

Metro Routes 16, 40, 345 and 346 serve North Seattle College.

Bike racks are available underneath the large concrete staircase and east of the cafeteria.

The Friends of The Seattle Public Library is a non-profit, grassroots organization dedicated to promoting the Library as an essential institution of our society.
