Be inspired by the past and present stories of people who care for the Duwamish River by making fun and playful cardboard mechanical toys from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at the South Park Branch, 8604 Eighth Ave. S., 206-615-1688.
Learn how to design simple mechanisms by building cardboard machines. You'll explore levers, cams and other mechanisms to make your mechanical toy move.
