Coffee cart hours:
- Monday through Friday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday - noon to 4 p.m.
Chocolati, the coffee cart on Level 3 at the Central Library, offers a variety of coffee drinks, hot chocolate, baked goods and sandwiches. The company also provides its own high-quality, hand-made chocolate goods.
The area near the cart has tables and chairs where customers can sit and enjoy their food and beverages. The current rules regulating the consumption of food and beverages in public areas of the Central Library permit the consumption of covered beverages throughout the building. Except for meeting room areas, the consumption of food is limited to the coffee cart area.
The building was specifically designed with space for a coffee and sandwich vendor on Level 3, the most dramatic and heavily-trafficked area of the building. This floor is where people gather for tours, stop in at lunch to browse material on upcoming Library programs and events, or just spend time reading.
