SPL Voices celebrates the history, meaning and impact of The Seattle Public Library in Seattle’s past and future.

We partnered with StoryCorps to begin collecting personal stories and conversations from a variety of perspectives. Explore selected conversations, and then celebrate the role of the Library by sharing your story online using the hashtag #SPLVoices.

The Library is for everyone, and we want to hear everyone’s voice. So tell us and celebrate the role of the library in Seattle’s past and future by sharing one word, a story, or a meaningful photo that describes what the Library means to you and why.
