At the June 6, 2006, CIRP for Libraries meeting:
Joseph Smith was elected chairperson to serve through June 2007.
Emily Wheeler was elected vice chairperson.
Gary Frisch
Gary Frisch is a software development manager with The Boeing Co. He has
a bachelor of science degree in engineering, with an emphasis in computer
science, from the University of Washington. Frisch is a member of the
Friends of The Seattle Public Library board of trustees.
Steward: Queen Anne and South Park branches.
Ellen M. Judson
Ellen Judson works at MulvannyG2 Architecture in Bellevue. She has served
as a trustee of the Montlake Community Club, and on numerous community-related
committees in Seattle and elsewhere. Acting as chairwoman of the liaison
committee for siting the new Montlake Branch initiated her into the exciting
world of Libraries for All. Her extensive background in architecture and
planning includes research and teaching positions at the University of
Washington's Department of Architecture.

Amy Kaminishi
Amy Kaminishi is an accountant with Washington Mutual Bank, as well as
a founding member and treasurer of the Friends of the Beacon Hill Branch.
She is a member of the North Beacon Hill Council and volunteers at community-related
activities. She received the Neighborhood Friend of the Year Award in
November 1998.
Steward: Beacon Hill and Douglass-Truth branches.
Suzanne Kotz
Suzanne Kotz is a freelance fine arts editor and writer who works for
museums around the country. Her professional life has revolved around
books and public service, in both library and museum settings. She holds
a master's degree in library science. Kotz also is a board member and
legislative chairwoman of the Northwest Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation.

Stephen Lundgren
Stephen Lundgren provides staff support for the patient education and
information center at Harborview Medical Center and is a self-employed
researcher and writer. His civic and volunteer activities include work
with: Ballard District Council; Ballard Civic Center Steering Committee;
Friends of the Ballard Branch; Friends of Ballard Commons Park; Seattle
City Neighborhoods Council; Seattle Community Council Federation; Crown
Hill Ballard Neighborhood Planning Association; Sunset Hill Community
Association; Alaskan Way Viaduct Seawall Washington State/Seattle Leadership
Advisory Group.

Monica Moravec
Monica Moravec is a principal engineer with KPFF Consulting Engineers,
a civil and structural engineering firm in downtown Seattle. Moravec specializes
in planning and design of public municipal facilities. She has been an
active member of the Program for Early Parenting Support (PEPS), Friends
of the Queen Anne Branch, and has served as a mentor for female engineering
students at the University of Washington.
Steward: Central Library, Capitol Hill, Magnolia, Northgate and Queen
Anne branches.
Julia Airyang Park
Julia Airyang Park is a regional and urban planner and historic preservation
officer for Pierce County. She currently serves on the Ballard District Council and is the 36th District representative to the council.
She was curator
for the exhibit "Golden Roots – Korean Americans in Washington
State” at the Wing Luke Asian Museum, where she previously served
as trustee. Previously, Park also has served as a trustee of the Washington
Commission for the Humanities, a board member of Friends of The Seattle
Public Library, and a member of the Library Oversight Committee for the
Libraries for All program.

Kevin Patrick
Kevin Patrick is the director of private client services for Freestone
Capital Management and an arbitration panelist for the National Association
of Securities Dealers. He is a board member of the Magnolia Community
Club and a founding member of the Seattle Business Roundtable.
Steward: Magnolia Branch.
Cher Ravagni
Cher Ravagni is a librarian at The Seattle Public Library in the Business,
Government, Language Study and Social Sciences Department. She received
her master's degree in library science from the University of Washington
in 1973. She is a member of the American Library Association (ALA) and
the Washington Library Association (WLA), and chairs the Intellectual
Freedom Committee for the WLA. As a member of AFSCME Local 2083, Seattle
Public Library Employees, Ravagni is the union's representative to the
panel.

Dennis Ross
Dennis Ross is president of the Admiral Community Council and served as
chairman of the Southwest District Council in 1998 and 2000. He is the
Southwest District Council delegate to the City Neighborhood Council (CNC),
and in 1999 served as CNC vice chairman. Ross is retired from the warehouse
division of Fittings Inc. in Seattle.

Joseph E. Pasquarella Smith
Joseph Smith is a partner in a home-restoration and real estate service
company. Smith also serves as treasurer of the South Park Area Redevelopment
Committee (SPARC), is a founder of the South Park Marra Farm Coalition,
and is the South Park Neighborhood Association representative to the Greater
Duwamish District Council. Smith is an Individual Director of the Federation
of Gay Games Inc., and was an 11-year member of the board of Team Seattle.

Southwest and West Seattle branches.
Emily Wheeler
Emily Wheeler works for ARC Architects of Seattle and has completed several
independent projects in residential design. She has a master's degree
in architecture from the University of Washington, where her thesis focused
on the relationship among Seattle neighborhoods, diagonal streets and
the urban grid.
Steward: International District/Chinatown, Lake City, Rainier Beach, and South Park branches.
