International District/Chinatown Branch Design Images

Miller Hayashi Architects is designing the new 3,800-square-foot International District/Chinatown Branch, which will be part of a five-story complex known as International District Village Square II, built between south Lane and Dearborn streets and Seventh and Eighth avenues south.

Below is a rendering of International District Village Square II. The library will be located on the ground floor toward the middle of the building.

Design Development

Miller Hayashi Architects developed these images during the latest stage of design, called "design development." By the end of design development, the architects have finalized the design of the building, including how the library will be laid out and what materials will be used to build it.
