April 1-19 Architect Selection Advisory Panel (ASAP) reads and screens qualifications, and recommends a list of 3-5 firms

Lee Auditorium Library Board considers recommendation of ASAP and chooses ‘short listed’ firms for second phase

April 23 Short-listed firms notified

May 3 Written responses from short listed firms due to Seattle Public Library

May 10
Benaroya Hall Recital Hall Public presentations of firms’ work by short listed firms; firms given assignment for Wednesday, May 12.

May 11 ASAP conducts interviews

May 12
Lee Auditorium Public presentation of assignments; ASAP formulates recommendation

May 18, 4:30 p.m.
Lee Auditorium Library Board public meeting to consider ASAP recommendation

Following May 18: Library Board may wish to visit projects, clients or office of finalist(s). Library Board identification of finalist could occur as early as May 18, or subsequent to such visits.
