How do I get a card?

If you live, work, or own property within the free Library service areas - or if you are the spouse or underage dependent of someone who does - you can get a free Library card. You can also get a free card if you go to school in the service areas.


Apply online

Anyone age 13 or older who qualifies for free service can fill out a Library Card Application online. Please bring current picture identification and proof of current address to a Library location to receive your card. You also may apply in person.

Can my child get a Library card?

Yes. Children up to 12 years old can get a Children's Library card. Complete the Children's Library Card Application and take it along with your child to any Library location.

What else should I know about Library cards?

  • There may be a few restrictions for the first month
  • Borrowing limits start at five items at a time and increase to 50 after a month
  • Visitors and non-residents can buy a Library card
  • If you lose your card there is a $1 replacement fee for borrowers who are at least 13 years old
  • You are responsible for any items checked out using your Library card. Please let us know if your card has been lost or stolen.
