Delridge Branch

Delridge Branch Artwork

The Seattle Public Library board of trustees selected metal artists Nick Lyle and Jean Whitesavage to design artwork for the new Delridge Branch, launching the first branch art project under the "Libraries for All" building program. The artists collaborated and made the artwork themselves out of hand-forged steel, using native plants found along nearby Longfellow Creek as inspiration.
