What types of adaptive equipment can I find at the Library?
Patrons with sight or hearing impairments may use the following:
XP Magnifier software on computers at all Library locations. To use Magnifier:

- Or select "Screen Magnification" from the main Library Online menu.

A variety of equipment is available in the Central Library through the Library Equal Access Program (LEAP), including:
- Computers with JAWS Screen Reader
- Duxbury Braille Translation Program
- PowerBraille/65 Character Refreshable Braille Display System
- XP Magnifier software
- ZoomText Screen Enlargement
- Closed-Circuit Television magnifiers (CCTV)
- Kurzweil Reading Edge*
- Kurzweil 1000 Reading System
- Versapoint Duo Braille Embossers (Printers)
- APH tape player
- Handheld and desktop magnifiers
- D-Link Videophone - allows visitors to use sign language to communicate with local agencies, videophone relay operators, friends and family
