2017 Summer of Learning: Blast off to space! Spend a night on the moon

Mission 7

Spend a night on the moon

What if you got to go spend the night on the moon? To complete this task, write or draw all the things you need to pack on the mission 7 page of your mission log

Moon Facts

  • Any water on the moon is only found in ice form
  • There is no atmosphere (the gases surrounding a planet) which means there's no oxygen to breathe.
  • The temperature during the day can reach 253 degrees and -243 degrees at night (average temperature for summer in Seattle is a 76 degrees day, with a 57 degree night. Water boils at 212 degrees.)
