Mission 5

Practice your smarts!

To complete this task,  fill in the puzzle in your mission log and make sure that each shape appears only once in each row or column.

NASA Astronaut John Herrington

Did you know?

NASA Astronaut John Herrington began his journey to become the first member of a Native American Sovereign Nation to visit space by realizing that he was good at math! After he finished college, Commander Herrington joined the Navy to become a pilot. There he flew over 3,000 hours in more than 30 different airplanes. NASA recruited Commander Herrington to journey to the International Space Station on the space shuttle Endeavor. During his mission to space, he brought along six eagle feathers, a braid of sweet grass, two arrowheads and the Chickasaw Nation's flag.

Read more about his adventure in his book Mission to Space.
