Programs & Services

  • My First Library Card Tote Bags - When early learners (age 0-6) get their first Library card, they will receive a special gift, courtesy of the Friends of The Seattle Public Library.
  • Begin with Books - Reading to young children gives them an early love of books and encourages them to become lifelong readers. You can start your child's reading adventure with "Begin with Books" Toddler and Preschool theme kits.
  • Sensory Story Times - Sensory story times are geared for children ages 10 and under who have a hard time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum, or are sensitive to sensory overload.
