The Seattle Public Library and Seattle Arts & Lectures teamed together again so you can spend your summer reading great books and have a chance to win fabulous prizes!
Fill in a Bingo Card with the titles and authors of the books you've read between May 17, 2017 and Sept. 5, 2017 and drop it (or a photocopy if you wish to keep the original) at any Library branch, mail it in, or post a photo via Instagram or Twitter. Book titles may be used only once per card, and only one entry per person, please. For readers 15 and older.
Need some ideas for books to fill your Bingo squares?
Ask a librarian at any of our Libraries, or fill out a brief form at Your Next 5 Books and a librarian will email you suggestions selected just for you. Our staff will be writing about Book Bingo and recommending books all summer long on our Shelf Talk blog. You can also ask us for book suggestions on Twitter (@SPLBuzz) or Facebook.
BINGO: Complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line and you will be entered into a drawing for a $30 gift card to an independent bookstore.
BLACKOUT CARD: Complete all 25 squares and you will be entered in a drawing for the grand prize — a library of books by 2017/18 SAL authors and two tickets to the entire SAL 2017/18 season.
Bingo begins on Wednesday, May 17 and runs through Labor Day. All submissions for prizes must be received by 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.
