The Seattle Public Library presents 'Intro to Digital Topographic Maps' in October and November

The Seattle Public Library will host "Intro to Digital Topographic Maps" classes at four Library locations in October and November.
The classes are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is required; call the branch to register. Free parking is available at the branches.
U.S. Topo is the newest generation of topographic maps from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Class instructor Tom Carlson, Washington State's geospatial liaison to the USGS, will demonstrate how to use U.S. Topo in a hands-on environment. Attendees may use a Library computer or bring their own laptop.
