Start a Business: Workshop Series at The Seattle Public Library This Winter
Interested in starting a business? Three locations of The Seattle Public Library have a four-week workshop series called "First Step: Does Your Business Idea Make Sense?" It starts with a session on generating business ideas and personal readiness, and then helps you put together a business plan.
Week 1: Startup basics - ideas and personal readiness
Week 2: Finding a market - product, marketing and market research
Week 3: Getting paid - budgeting, sales and estimating costs
Week 4: Putting it all together - cash flow, financial projections and breaking even
