Meet the authors of 'Seattle in Black and White' April 3 at The Seattle Public Library

The program is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Limited parking is available in the Central Library garage at the $5 weekend rate.

Singler, Durning, Valentine and Adams will share their first-hand accounts of civil rights activism in Seattle during the 1960s. All four women were active members of the Seattle Congress of Racial Equality (CORE).

This program is presented in partnership with University of Washington Press. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
