Lunar New Year Celebration and Potluck at The Seattle Public Library Feb. 15

Out with the year of the Rooster, in with the year of the Dog! Celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year with family-friendly stories, crafts and treats from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 at The Seattle Public Library, Lake City Branch, 12501 28th Ave. N.E., 206-684-7518.

 

Library programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required. Free parking is available in the underground garage.

Traditional dress is encouraged, and potluck dishes are also welcome. Community members are invited to help plan the event, bring food and help with decorations. Call the branch at 206-684-7518 to participate in planning.

 

This event is presented in partnership with Lake City Future First (LCFF). LCFF works to inform and engage Lake City business and property owners, residents and organizers to achieve a vibrant Lake City business district.
