Patrons of The Seattle Public Library have a new way to keep track of holds and due dates

The Seattle Public Library logo

Seattle Public Library cardholders now have a new way to keep track of their Library holds and due dates.

Library Elf is a free online service now available for use by Seattle Public Library cardholders that helps track Library holds and due dates. Library Elf provides holds waiting, pre-overdue, and overdue notifications for multiple Library accounts in one message. This service is especially useful to families trying to track multiple Library accounts. The service can even combine accounts of other participating library systems, including KCLS.

Seattle Public Library cardholders can sign up for Library Elf at www.libraryelf.org. A thorough overview of Library Elf is available at www.libraryelf.com/FAQ.aspx, and a demo is available at www.libraryelf.com/Demo.aspx.

The Library will continue existing notice services, including the pre-overdue notice and holds waiting notification by email. Library Elf is a free add-on notice and alert system that allows Seattle Public Library cardholders to simplify and customize their library notices and alerts.
