Drop-in Help With Diabetes at The Seattle Public Library Nov. 19
Does your family have a history of diabetes? Are you wondering what changes you can make to lower your own risk of diabetes? In recognition of Diabetes Awareness Month, students from the UW School of Pharmacy will host a drop-in information booth from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19 at the Ballard Branch, 5614 22nd Ave. N.W., 206-684-4089.
Stop by to ask what happens when you are diagnosed with diabetes, how to manage it, how to lower your risk of diabetes and any other questions you may have.
Each November, communities across the country observe National Diabetes Month to bring attention to diabetes and its impact on millions of Americans.
