Start a Business Workshop Series at The Seattle Public Library Begins Sept. 6
Entrepreneurs are invited to participate in a four-week workshop series that will demonstrate how to see if a business startup idea makes sense from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday, Sept. 6 through Sept. 27 at the Delridge Branch, 5423 Delridge Way S.W., 206-733-9125.
Library events are free and open to the public. Online registration is recommended, visit http://www.cie-nw.org/ or call 425-243-7366. Plan on attending all four weeks for the best experience. Free parking is available in the branch parking lot.
Interested in starting a business? The four-week series starts with a session on idea generation and personal readiness. The schedule will include:
- Sept. 6: Startup basics, ideas and personal readiness
- Sept. 13: Finding a market - product, marketing and market research
- Sept. 20: Getting paid - budgeting, sales and estimating costs
- Sept. 27: Putting it all together - cash flow, financial projections and breaking even
